ICP-CAT (Coaching Agile Transitions) certification is a knowledge-based Agile certification that examines the world of transformation, particularly the people-side of things. Given that most top-down approaches cause resistance and fail, what we really need is active participation and self-management at all levels to solve real business problems. To accomplish this we need systemic coaching and facilitation techniques that allow everyone involved in the structure or process, to participate in its co-creation. The ICP-CAT certification provides a deep understanding of these techniques. It explores elements central to agile transitions such as organizational and human change processes, transformation strategies, addressing organizational impediments, and communicating, educating, and facilitating at an organizational level.

ICP-ENT (Agility in the Enterprise) certification is a knowledge-based Agile coaching certification that delves into what an organization needs to change for it to be more responsive and more value-driven. The learning objectives explore the leadership, structural, cultural, and process needs of extending agility to the whole enterprise. It covers a broad range of topics including how marketing, sales, finance, and other business functions need to be engaged for business agility; many skills, tools, and techniques to overcome common dysfunctions like handoffs and waste, and how to design a system that supports high-performance, customer focus, and facilitates agility. The ICP-ENT helps you to identify the systematic root causes that impede agility while giving you deep insights into the challenges most companies face today.  It also equips students with the right set of tools to solve these challenges on an enterprise level.

ICP-ACC (Agile Coaching Certification) is a knowledge-based Agile coaching certification. The primary focus of this certification is to help participants understand the Agile mindset, roles, and responsibilities of an Agile coach. After achieving this certification, a candidate can easily differentiate between facilitating, mentoring, professional coaching, and teaching. Also, the candidates will develop some skills like team collaboration and conflict resolution that will help the coach to form a safe environment in an organization. One key focus of this certification is to develop an understanding of the professional coaching skill set as well as the value of honing these skills in order to serve individuals in an agile team.

ICP-ATF (Agile Team Facilitation) certification is one of two steps toward achieving the coveted expert level in ICAgile’s Agile Coaching track. The course is designed with facilitation simulations incorporated throughout. It gives you the necessary skills to design and conduct collaborative meetings while leading teams toward higher maturity levels, more effective results, and self-organization. This course focuses on skills and techniques as well as the mindset of the facilitator towards becoming an Agile Coach. It includes group facilitation tools and techniques to design workshops and meetings that engage and drive toward results and greater agility. In this class, you will develop an understanding of the art of facilitation as key to growing collaboration and enabling self-organization on teams.

The Story of Kintsugi Training

The centuries-old Japanese art of Kintsugi challenges us to reimagine what we define as beauty. The process involves rejoining pieces of broken pottery with gold particles in the adhesive, transforming the imperfections to a beautiful one-of-a-kind work of art, therefore making it complete.

In the same way, this art shows off the beauty in the fragmented seams; In the world of Kintsugi Training Institute, we believe imperfections make people naturally whole and complete. The beauty lies, not in perfection, but rather in the imperfections – beautiful not despite, but because of.

In our training classes, we teach the next generation of coaches to see their clients as naturally whole because of their imperfections. Also, we help them see their imperfections as what makes them unique and gives them their unique coaching style.

Our Philosophy, who we are

The core of the Kintsugi Training Institute is built on Agile values and principles, which allows for seamless integration of those values within our training materials and connection with our participants. From content creation to business operations, everything embodies agility. Agile is not just a process or methodology, it’s a mindset that we believe can transcend any workspace.

Our goal is to support our participants across multiple regions, being mindful of different time zones and schedules while they are on their Agile Coaching journey. Because of this, we intend to have a variety of offerings to accommodate our clients and will adjust as needed based on feedback. We hold our clients as whole human beings and believe they embody creativity. We value open communication, feedback loops, and the natural intelligence of our clients who take our courses.
