Communication Certified Professional (ICA-COM)

About this course

Communicate Clearly. Make Meaning. Stay in Dialogue.

Workplace communication is rarely one skill. People need to create shared understanding, make ideas land, and navigate conversations where the stakes are high—often in the same week, with the same team.

Communication Certified Professional (ICA-COM) brings together three ICA courses in one registration: Communication Core (IC-COMM), Storytelling (IC-STRY), and Difficult Conversations (IC-DFCN). Together they form a complete communication learning path—from everyday clarity, to meaning that moves people, to dialogue that holds under pressure.

This is not three disconnected workshops. It is one cluster designed so each course builds on the last: communicate with intention, use story to create understanding, and stay productive when conversations get difficult.

Throughout the cluster, participants practice with workplace scenarios, discussion, reflection, and applied exercises—so the skills transfer immediately to real conversations, messages, and decisions at work.

What Makes This Cluster Different

Clarity. Meaning. Courage. One path.

Most professionals are asked to do all three every day—explain work clearly, help others understand why it matters, and navigate disagreement without damaging the relationship. Taking the courses as a cluster keeps the learning connected and the practice cumulative.

You will move through:

  • Communication Core — intent vs. impact, listening, questions, channels, and shared understanding
  • Storytelling — structure, audience, and delivery for workplace stories that create action
  • Difficult Conversations — preparation, dialogue under pressure, and clearer next steps

At Kintsugi Training Institute, you’ll learn through interactive practice led by experienced trainers—not lectures about communication theory.

Your learning experience includes

  • Instructor-led, interactive learning in 3.5 hr weekday sessions; weekend cluster runs Sat & Sun (7 hr each day)
  • All three ICA courses in one registration: IC-COMM, IC-STRY, and IC-DFCN
  • Practical exercises, workplace scenarios, and applied practice
  • Story design and delivery practice
  • Guided practice for high-stakes conversations
  • Active listening, purposeful questions, and shared-understanding techniques
  • Reflection on personal communication habits
  • ICA-accredited learning experience
