What kind of trainers are you looking for?
Experienced Agile coaches and facilitators who can lead live virtual classes with energy, clarity, and practical depth—especially across ICA pathways and Kintsugi offerings.
Do I need specific certifications?
Relevant ICAgile, Scrum, coaching, or facilitation credentials help. More important is demonstrated teaching or coaching experience and the ability to create an immersive learning space.
Must I be U.S.-based?
Yes for this faculty roster. Classes run on U.S. time zones with U.S.-based trainers. If you’re outside the U.S., you can still introduce yourself for future openings—but current public deliveries prioritize U.S.-based faculty.
Are classes in person or virtual?
Current public offerings are live virtual (Zoom), with interactive tools such as Mural and printable participant workbooks. Private / organizational deliveries may vary—share what formats you’re comfortable leading.
Is this full-time employment?
No. These are contract / faculty engagements for scheduled public and private classes—not a full-time W-2 employee role. Many of our trainers also maintain their own coaching or consulting practices.
How does compensation work?
Trainers are paid per class / engagement. Exact rates depend on the course, format, and whether it’s a public or private delivery. We discuss compensation once we’ve confirmed fit—please don’t treat the first conversation as a salary negotiation for a full-time job.
Do I create the curriculum myself?
No. Accredited courses follow ICAgile learning objectives and Kintsugi’s established materials, workbooks, and facilitation design. Your job is to bring the content to life—not invent a new curriculum from scratch.
What’s the time commitment for a class?
It depends on the course (for example, multi-session ICP classes vs. shorter micros). Plan on live facilitation hours plus light prep and follow-up. On your application, share evenings / weekends / weekday availability so we can match you to schedules that work.
Can I keep my other coaching or consulting work?
Yes. Faculty work is designed to sit alongside other professional practice, as long as you can show up fully prepared for the classes you accept.
What happens after I apply?
We review applications as roles open. If there’s a potential fit, we’ll email you to schedule a conversation about experience, courses you can lead, and availability. Come ready to talk about real classes you’ve facilitated—not only certifications on a résumé.
